What: |
BikeWalkRun-Athon—a
one-day event in which participants commit to travel an agreed-upon
distance in order to encourage others to support a cause (such as local and national campus ministry efforts!).

When: |
Spring 2012: anytime between March 15 and April 30. Choose the date that works best for your ministry!
|

Who: |
You, your students, staff, volunteers, and other supporters
|

Why:
|
Raise funds for your campus ministry, raise funds
for national campus ministry, and raise awareness of the importance of
campus ministry nationwide!
|
|
How: |
BikeWalkRun-Athon participants invite
friends, family, classmates, and co-workers to sponsor them per mile or
per lap (or in a lump sum amount!). Local registration and coordination
of BWR events are handled by local ministries; each participating local
ministry will register as a ministry with LCMS Campus Ministry and
provide information about number of participants and income goal.

Where do the donated funds go?
|
The total amount of your gifts is divided between
your local ministry and the national ministry (LCMS Campus Ministry).
You get to decide how the funds will be divided up.
